Obituary and Death Notice Index

This site provides access to a database containing an index of obituaries and death notices and images as collected
 from available microfilms of the Coal City Courant along with miscellaneous newspaper clippings.

Questions or copies of obituaries/death notices may be requested by emailing
the Adult Services Department at the Coal City Public Library District.

Special thanks to the National Honor Society members from Coal City High School
whose community service hours made this project possible.

Obituary images are provided as a courtesy by the Coal City Courant unless otherwise indicated.
