Welcome to the
Obituary and Death Notice Index of the Coal City Courant and Other Sources

The purpose of this website is to provide access to a database containing an index of obituaries and death notices as collected from available microfilms of the Coal City Courant along with miscellaneous newspaper clippings.

Copies of obituaries or death notices may be requested by emailing the Reference Department at the Coal City Public Library District.  Any questions about the index may also be be asked using the same link above.
