The Coal City Public Library District is participating in The Community Foundation of Grundy County’s annual Be a Santa to a Senior Program. 

If you know of a Grundy senior citizen age 60 and over who needs some Christmas cheer this year, please submit their name and information. Collected names will be placed on trees at Morris Library, Minooka Library, Coal City Library, and Mazon BP for the public to select.

Deadline to submit senior names is November 4th.

Schedule:

October 1-November 4 – public submits names and gift ideas of a Grundy senior in need of some Christmas cheer

November 8 – Senior name cards available on trees at Morris Library, Three Rivers Library Minooka branch, Coal City Library, Mazon BP

December 2 – wrapped gifts due back to Morris Library, Minooka Library, Coal City Library, and the Community Foundation of Grundy County

December 9-23 – volunteers will pick up gifts and deliver them to the seniors.
